I have a thing for braised vegetables, they add so much to your meal. Even if you are just having a slice of bread and cheese, add these braised green beans and it’s a beautiful lunch or dinner! For me anyway.
Or go all out and make a Sunday roast with these as a side dish.
Sometimes I simply swap the fresh tomatoes for one can of 400g chopped tomatoes. Tinned cherry tomatoes would also be great here!
