Homemade jam is such a beautiful thing and always makes me happy! Having a little cumquat tree in the garden is one of my life goals. But it is equally wonderful to work with fruit that a dear friend has gifted me.
Please excuse the typo of the ‘e’ instead of the ‘a’ in the title of the recipe card :). In German, all jam is called ‘Marmelade’ and there is no distinction between those made from citrus fruit and the other varieties. So I’ve decided to leave it like this as an homage to my heritage :).
I halved the amounts of the original recipe which makes a more manageable amount for us since I am the only marmalade lover in the family :).
